Train - bus - taxi from Hanoi to Ninh Binh

Distance from Hanoi to Ninh Binh is really short and easily to move. From Hanoi, you can go to Ninh Binh and the destinations which located in around by many ways, but main ways are by train, bus or taxi if you like.

Taxi from Hanoi to Ninh Binh: Hoa Lu ancient capital

If you go to Ninh Binh by train, I think this is the best way and it is very cheap too. From Hanoi Old Quarter where you have booked a hotel, you have to move to Hanoi Railway Station at Le Duan street (about 2km from Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Turtle Tower).

At anytime of the day, you also can buy a train ticket from Hanoi Station to Ninh Binh Station. Train ticket prices from Hanoi to Ninh Binh is about 3-4$.

If you go to Ninh Binh by bus, you have to move to Giap Bat bus station which located about 1,5km from south of Hanoi Railway Station. Bus ticket fares are about 4-5$.

If you want to go by taxi, you can choose any taxi in Hanoi but I advise you should calling some popular taxis like Mai Link taxi, Hanoi taxi, Hoan Kiem taxi, CP taxi, Huong Lua taxi... You can ask a hotel receptionist calling a cheap taxi for you.
