The first time I came to Nha Trang, I want to try the mud bath and and hot spring services immediately. In the north and south of Vietnam, there are plenty of mud bath and and hot spring services and hot mineral bath services. However, as I found out through the Internet, those services in Nha Trang are very good. Some other places, which have developed this kind of service later, copy this service in Nha Trang, they even import dry mud from Nha Trang to open their own mud bath and hot mineral bath establishments.
In fact, mud bath and hot spring in Nha Trang is very quality. It is not only worth your money but also meet the needs of tourists. Without mud bath and hot spring service, Nha Trang tourism would be less interesting.
So how was my mud bath and hot spring experience? Where's the mud bath around Nha Trang? I would love to tell you some of my mud bath experiences in this city.

In my ealier article, I told you about places to mad bath in Nha Trang, how to get each of them, where are they located and the ticket price. There are three places to mud bath and hot spring in Nha Trang Vietnam and I think you should choose one of them. So which one should be choosen? How are their quality?
How to mud bath in Nha Trang Vietnam?
I have tried three mud bath places in Nha Trang. In my opinion, if you want to go to the place which is both cheap and easy to get there, you should go to Thap Ba mud bath center (located in Thap Ba street, near Hon Chong landmark in Tran Phu street, Nha Trang). It is only a few kilometers far away from the center of Nha Trang city. There a lots of collective mud bath tubs here so that the price is quite cheap. Vietnamese tourists often come here.
If you want something more expensive, more private (private mud baths for pair, for group of 4 or 5 people or for large group), you should go to I Resort mud bath and hot spring Nha Trang but the price is a little higher than in Thap Ba mud bath. The design of I Resort mud bath in Nha Trang was based on the countryside style- the leaves roof. That is the reason why lots of foreign tourists go there (specially Russian and Chinese). I Resort mud bath is located 8 kilometers far from the city center and it takes 80-100 thousand Vietnam dong to get there by taxi.

If you want to combine mud bath and relaxation, you should go to Tram Trung mud bath (100 eggs, the furthest one, 20 kilometers from the city center). The most highlingting feature here is the shape of mud bath tubs look like egg shell (Tram Trung means hundred of eggs) and they are put all over the hill. The ticket price here is quite expensive. But the best mud bath in Nha Trang Vietnam is 100 eggs mud bath and hot spring and I Resort mud bath and hot spring.
If you are not worry about privacy and natural beauty, you can choose anyone of them. For example, you should go to Thap Ba mud bath if you want don’t want to spend lots of time just to go to that place or you might go to I resort mud bath if you love the private space.

From my own experience, in almost every mud bath places, there are two kind of mud bath services. The first kind of mud bath service is mud bath and then hot mineral bath (to wash the mud off your body). The second kind of mud bath service is spa mud bath.
Spa and mud bath Nha Trang price
There are two kind of mud, include: liquid mud which they used to soak themselve and sludge which is used to plaster on the body. Sludge is better than liquid mud. Therefore sludge is more expensive than liquid mud (sludge is about 600-700 thousand Vietnam dong while liquid mud is only about 230-250 thousand Vietnam dong)

If you appreciate privacy, you may buy ticket for personal mud bat. Its price is twice as much as ticket for collective mud bath. You may see up to day information about the price of mud bath in Nha Trang here
This is the process of mud bath. Firstly, come in the mud bath tud which has liquid mud or sludge and stay there for about 20 minutes (At weekend, you might not allowed to stay more than 20 minutes because of the crowd tourists. Sometime, they have to stay in line in order to have a mud bath) or you might stay no longer then 30 minutes because the mud will become cooler and cooler
After that, you might have a bath in cold waterfall or warm waterfall (it’s up to you) to wash the mud off your body. Then you can relax by going to the hot mineral pool. The water is warm, you might swim until you want to leave, there is no limit of time here. Lying benches and towels are put around the pool so that tourists can rest there.

If you want to eat or order something to drink, there are also some area that sell things you need. At I Resort mud bath and Tram Trung mud bath, there are service that boil eggs by hot mineral water for tourists and the price is only 5000 dong per egg.
Where to buy mud bath and hot mineral bath ticket in Nha Trang?
If you are staying in the center of Nha Trang city, you can ask the receptionists or hotel owners about places to mud bath and how to get there. They would invite you to buy their tickets. Each hotel will cooperate with a mud bath establishment. For example, some hotel will introduce you to Thap Ba or I Resort mud bath and give you a card that can reduce 5 percent of your mud bath ticket price. After that the mud bath establishment will pay them 5 percent of your ticket price (so, the mud bath service will cut down about 10 percent of their ticket price)
However, according to my own experience, some receptionists and hotel owners often sell tickets which are more expensive than the one written in front of the mud bath area (about 50-100 thoundsand). They even get benefit from your travelling price. For example, if you want to go to Thap Ba, they will tell you to give them money and they will take you there. So, in my opinion, you should not buy available tickets in hotels. Call a taxi in Nha Trang and go straight to mud bath places in Nha Trang and buy tickets in front of the entrance.

Although there are lots of tourist, tickets are alway available. The price is 50-100 thoundsand dong cheaper than tickets which you can buy in hotel. The taxi fee is not so expensive if you know the way to go there
You should not bring too many things with you. Money, mobile phone, swimwear are enough. There are some of my mud bath experience in Nha Trang.
