Hanoi Train Station is a central position located right in the center of Hanoi capital. From Hanoi old quarter, you can walk to here. It is about 2km from Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Turtle Tower and very near Hanoi Hilton Prison

Hanoi Railway Station is located at 120 Le Duan street, Hoan Kiem district and very close Cua Nam Ward - Hanoi. However, this station has two different ports, which are located in two different routes.

You can walk from Hanoi Station to Hanoi Old Quarter and it takes about 30 minutes. But I think you should call a taxi at the gate of Hanoi Station, where has so many Hanoi taxis
